November 4-7, 2021  Imagine your paddle hitting the water and pulling through the crystal blue waters surrounding Wrightsville Beach and Harbor Island. In addition, you are alongside the world's greatest competitors. Enter today to participate in the annual East Coast's premier stand up paddle competition, hosted by The Blockade Runner. This week-long event will begin Thurday at 8 AM with various clinics throughout the day, and an opening reception and movie night at the Blockade Runner. Friday will include fun clinics and demos. The races begin on Saturday morning at 8 and the Expo opens at 9 with national vendors of gear and boards, southern food, live music, and local craft brews. The awards ceremony takes place at 4 PM. Sunday includes Demos, clinics, and the Kids Race. If you skip the paddle race and just want to observe the professionals, head over anyway. This event kicks off the summer in true aquatic fashion. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Plastic Ocean Project–The Carolina Cup Charity Sponsor.
