Learning to swim builds confidence and self-esteem. The YWCA Lower Cape Fear has been teaching people to swim for more than thirty years. Whether our child is starting the first swim lesson or you are training for the next triathlon, they can help. In YWCA aquatics programs, they teach people how to be safe in the pool as well as the skills of swimming. Children and adults can develop lifelong lessons for a healthy mind and body. YWCA swim lessons include parent-child classes, preschool classes, youth and adult classes in group or private lessons. In addition to swim lessons, the YWCA offers water aerobics, lifeguard training, the Barracuda Swim Team, The YDub Tri-Club and pool party rentals.
