Heather D. Wilson is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a degree in English and a minor in creative writing. After working as a manuscript editor for Houghton Mifflin Company in Boston, she moved back down south where she received a master of fine arts in creative writing at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. A yoga instructor and a grant writer, Heather is happy to live, work and play in this beautiful coastal community. She lives with her husband, stepdaughter, son, and their dog and cat, just 15 minutes away from Wrightsville and Carolina Beaches.
